I can say for the year 2016, the evolution of the tanks has boomed to more complex builds but not at the expense of user experience. It definitely raised the bar higher for these rebuildable tank atomizers from RBAs, RDAs, boreRTAs, and the newly designed RDTAs. I’m one happy vaper with all these upgrades because at the end of the day, what matters most to me is convenience and satisfaction. The convenience of not having to do all things manually especially with the technological advancements nowadays; I’m really all for efficiency and automation. Of course, the quality of the flavors and cloud production, per se, plays a big consideration when choosing my tank. Out of the 4 types of tank atomizers, the RDTA is the one most fit for my preferences. It is very easy to build and use. It is capable of giving me the robust flavor from my juices and can create the vapor production I’m rooting for. Recently, I have purchased one online. It is Syntheticloud’s Alpine RDTA. As we all know, Syntheticloud is the same company who manufactured the famous Aeolus – a definite crowd pleaser. Alpine is a top notch version of the latter so more or less, expect another good quality atomizer.

This RDTA looks so classy especially with the combination of the colors. It looks simple yet elegant with the gold plated connections. Not only was it designed aesthetically but for better conductivity too.
The first thing you would notice is when you try to build and disassemble the parts is how tight everything is, so make sure to lube them up before you use them so it’s easier to twist the parts when controlling the airflow. Overall, the design has a great build quality. It is not too big and I love the colors, too. What impresses me the most on this RDTA is how easy it is to refill the e-liquid. I absolutely like the 3mm center- top fill as it just the right size since most of top fill systems are hard to deal due to the size of the holes and its placement. Refilling thru the top-center makes the process a lot easier as you do not need to screw/unscrew anything to do it.
Another great specification is Alpine’s large build deck plus the titanium screws of the post’s holes for a more tasteful build. The deck is wider compared to others so no need to worry about the spit back. And the 3mm terminal posts can accommodate a wide range of coils not to mention, it is secured using the titanium screws. The tank also has top and bottom airflow which I think is good so vapers can experiment on how they like to produce the flavor and the cloud. Judging by how easy to build this RDTA, I think it can suit beginners to more advanced users.
Now when it comes to the flavor and vapor capability, this does not disappoint either. I used a 70VG/30PG e-juice and power it up at 70w and I still got the perfect flavor and the right amount of cloud production. I have also experimented on how the top and bottom airflow affects the flavor of the e-juice. I find that opening the top airflow to half and closing the bottom airflow gives me the right kick and robust flavor while still maintaining the thick clouds I want. While closing the top airflow and opening the bottom might be too strong for me while opening both air flow loses the flavor to my liking.
I have purchased this online at urvapin.com for $32.99 which I think is a great steal. I’ve actually tried to check out their other accessories on the site and noticed that there are lots of good deals. I’m actually eyeing on the Arms Race LMC box mod or that Tesla Terminator. So far, I’ve been enjoying the Alpine and it definitely was a good purchase.
